Galdo attended the San Francisco Art Institute, graduating in 2004. She was an art director for Euro RSCG, a global advertising agency until 2009, when she decided to go full time.

Galdo enjoys a very long snorkel, her favorite food is eggplant parmesan, and she is tall.
