Advertising Photography by Mark Zibert
Canadian Mark Zibert is a prize-winning commercial and documentary photographer who has been shooting since 2000. Zibert’s first major opportunity, at the age of 23, was a national campaign for Nike. He now works with both editorial and advertising agencies on a global level. Recent projects include the Adidas Olympic advertising campaign for the 2008 Games in Beijing. The campaign won China its first Cannes Gold Lion and also won photography campaign of the year at the Lucie Awards.
Working outside the commercial realm is equally important to him as well. For the past few years, Zibert has been traveling to Africa (Rwanda, Uganda, Sierra Leone and Tanzania) to shoot documentary work for various Non Government Organizations which work to improve the lives of refugees, former child combatants and young people with, at risk or orphaned by HIV/AIDS.
