Silver Metamorphosis by Yacine M'Seffar
Yacine M’seffar began learning photography as an assistant and as a collaborator for some of the best photographers . Hired as a first assistant, his initiation to the demands of commercial photography instilled a a sense on professionalism and perfection for the technical aspects of the discipline. It was with time and in the personal relationships he developed with artists and photographers such as Peter Beard and Raphael Mazzucco that his artistic passions began to develop.
After learning the intricacies of commercial photography it was the artistic relationships which challenged Yacine to explore the farther reaches of photography as an art form. He learned to use photography as an outlet for creativity without the boundaries set in stone in the more mercantile pursuits. His creative roots are in nature, in the wilderness, that we are inextricably part of and inexplicably distancing ourselves from.
